Prima actiune / First ''International Sydewalk Astronomy Night''

I found on my computer my note about the first  ''International Sydewalk Astronomy Night'' which took place on the 19-th of May 2007.
This action was organised by ''sydewalkastronomers'' in USA and it was attended by amateur astronomers and public  world wide.

Apart of ''Galaxis Club'' in Arad ,the first ISAN was attended in Romania  by AREA/ ''Romanian Assoc. for Education in Astronomy'' of Arad, Astronomical Association ''Sirius'' of Barlad, a member of the ''Meridian 0'' in Oradea ,the Astronomy Club of Bucharest  and Octavian Georgescu.

Below one may see the content of the poster of  our ISAN action in Arad,sponsored by  ''Galaxis Astronomy Club'' and ''Pro Mixdesign'' , a  private company pioneering the local commerce of astronomical equipment.
General public here show little interest in Astronomy.
However this company was trying the trade of astronomical equipment because one of the shareholders was Farkas Laszlo ,a professional astronomer at the Astronomical Observatory in Timisoara.

“ International Sydewalk Astronomy Night “este  o actiune  in care   publicul  observa  corpurile ceresti prin telescop.
Actiunea este si  un omagiu adus lui John Dobson ,inventator al telescopului care –i  poarta numele si care a declansat revolutia dobsoniana in Astronomia de amatori.
John Dobson a propus de mult timp ca, in aceeasi noapte, o mie de telescoape sa fie scoase in strada in lumea intreaga pentru ca” milioane de oameni sa vada , pentru ca  milioane de oameni sa inteleaga”.
