Sunset on October 24

On 24 of October the sunset was very colorful.
The camera used was my hand held Coolpix S3300.
I will let Nature to speak for herself.
Who knows how many times such grandiose  phenomena unfolds while our heads and   hearts are bent over the artificial sky of the screens.

Paralipomena of the Harvest and Hunter Moon 2016

Harvest Moon images taken on 15 of September.
With the naked eyes the color of the Harvest Moon was  striking orange or deep yellow.
All pics taken with my Nikon Coolpix S 3300 compact camera on modified Velbon photo tripod.

                                                               

The next Full Moon after the Harvest Moon , called the Hunter Moon it happen on 15 of October.

Well , the following small scale pics of the Hunter Moon  were taken one  day before.

So this are Hunter Moon photo's...nearly.

For a while , at the start of the observation , the Moon was accompanied by a light Moon Corona and some contrails left by jets.

''Harvest Moon'' pics taken on the night of 15/16 September through my home-made 125mm F/7 Dobsonian ,DIY device for afocal method at 35x / Sirius 25mm Plossl , Coolpix S3300 compact camera.

                                                             

Other First Quarter  Moon pics taken on 8 of October , using the same DIY afocal device and camera but the telescope was my ''Teleskop Service'' Maksutov-Cassegrain of 100mm aperture F/14 working at 56x with the 25mm Plossl eyepiece.
