Venus-Mercury Conjunction 21-22 May 2020

Thursday, May 21

The thin crescent of Venus was very well visible in the 7x50mm Fujinon binocular.
The  star Elnath /El Nath or Beta Tauri was visible to the East of the two planets .

When Mercury was going to set, it took a strange but spectacular  redish hue.

Friday ,May 22

On both ocasions, Mercury was well visible with naked eyes.
The thin crescent of Venus was again visible in the 7x50mm binocular , Friday evening.
Even more, I was able to see the Venusian crescent with my Keplerian 9x15mm singlet refractor.
