Lunar X and Lunar V ,crepuscular rays and planetary conjunctions

On June 20 I observed the ''Lunar X'' and ''Lunar V''  using my ''zoth'' 90x600mm refractor.

My ''zoth''  90x600 mm refractor

Visual observations were made at 60x/ Plossl 10mm  and 100x / BCO 6mm.
The pics were taken in the afocal mode at 60 x with the Coolpix S3300 camera.
This is my second ''LunarX-Lunar V'' observation of  this ''light and shadow'' show of the Moon.

On July 14 I was preparing this Summer wine.

Above , on the sky it were visible for a long while spectacular crepuscular rays.

On the evening of July 15 the planet Venus was close to the Moon while Lady Luna was in conjuction with the star Regulus.
The Ashen Light was well visible on the Moon.

Venus to the left of the Moon

Venus in the left corner , Regulus below  the Moon

On July 20 the Moon was in conjunction with the planet Jupiter.

All pics , excepting those of Lunar X- V , were taken with a Nikon Coolpix S3300 compact camera set on an all-metal old Velbon tripod.

Observatii din primavara lui 2017/Observations Spring 2017-Part III

The Moon and Jupiter on the Eastern sky on March 30.

Jupiter, the same evening ,  in the constellation Virgo at end of March,as  recorded by the Coolpix S3300 camera , between Spica and Theta Vir.

On 10 of April I was taking - at least I was trying - afocal pictures with my 90x600mm ''zoth'' RFT refracting telescope.

Here we see the 90mm RFT refractor on my DIY ''Penelopa'' pipe-mount with LV 30mm 2'' ocular.

Mizar-Alcor-Sidus Ludoviciana in the 90mm RFT refractor.

Arcturus and the star 22 Boo.

Delta Boo and companion.

Dubhe -Alpha UMa and optical companion.

Mu Bootis- Alkalurops as a double star.
At 100x the dim star prove to be a tight double star itself.

Life is not always smooth !

But we are still looking confidently to the future !

Moon Corona ,Venus,Jupiter ,maybe Mars on November 3rd

Moon Corona on the morning of November 3rd at 6:00.
Tripod mounted Coolpix S3300 at f=27,6mm  F/6.5

Jupiter -top ,Venus -bottom,on November 3rd.

Venus and Jupiter ,slightly defocused  ( for a 3D effect? )

Venus and Jupiter ,same morning.
On the original , Mars is visible at left and a bit upward of Venus.
It was a morning with tick fog.

TRIPLA CONJUNCTIE PLANETARA VENUS-JUPITER-MARTE /TRIPLE PLANETARY CONJUNCTION VENUS-JUPITER-MARS

Miercuri 28 Octombrie 2015 , la orele 5 dimineata , am facut cateva fotografii ale triplei conjunctii planetare Venus-Jupiter -Marte .
Am folosit  ''sapuniera'' mea ,aparatul foto digital compact Nikon Coolpix S3300 ,montat pe un trepied integral  metalic Velbon.
Wednesday 28 October  at about five o'clock in the morning ,I took a few pictures of the triple planetary conjunctions of Venus-Jupiter-Mars.
I used my Nikon Coolpix S3300 compact digital camera set on an all-metal Velbon tripod.

Venus-Jupiter-Mars Triple Planetary Conjunction on 28 Oct. 2015 ,
large field of  view at f=6,8mm F/4.2

Venus at middle  with  Jupiter above and Mars left-below.
Medium field size at f = 11,3mm F/5.6.

On original pics ,the light of Venus have a ''solar'' hue , that of Jupiter a cold-silvery color while Mars is fiery red.

The last two pics were taken  at f=27,6mm F/6.5,about maximum optical zoom.
Beautiful ,  impressive triple conjunction !

Monday 22 of June ,Jupiter and Venus are getting closer.

Another pic on 22-nd of June, one of my favorite.

Friday June 26 : light clouds framing
the Jupiter-Venus Conjunction.

26 of June.

Friday 26 June -the Moon  used as a celestial meter stick is showing :
distance between Jupiter and Venus = 4.607 times her diameter or 152 arc minutes.

At left or South of Venus it is visible the ghostly Jupiter .

Not exactly the right picture to look for the landing sites of Apollo missions.

The Jupiter-Venus Conjunction at peak on Tuesday ,June 30.

30 June 2015: at the moment of my observations ,the distance between Jupiter and Venus was of 24 minutes according to my calculations.
